What do you invest your time or money in, that makes you happy?
Working out with a Personal Trainer regularly is the best way to release chemicals in your brain that make you feel happy, lower depression and anxiety, and find long-term happiness. Here's how:
Personal Training Improves Your Energy
Exercise helps us have an improved quality of sleep. Sleep helps us recharge, allowing our bodies to recover and regenerate more quickly. Exercise improves breathing quality; inhale and exhale more deeply which improves cell oxygenation. If you can breathe more efficiently, you will have more energy. Exercise improves muscle strength and endurance which increases your ability to do physical effort.
Personal Training Decreases Your Stress
Exercise stimulates the secretion of "Happy Hormones". These happy hormones are Endorphins, Serotonin, Dopamine, and Oxytocin. Not only does your mood improve with these hormones, but these hormones improve learning, memory, sleep, digestion, and pain relief! One type of training I utilize is HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training), which the National Institute of Health and other research organizations have stated to "Decrease anxiety, stress, and symptoms of depression as well as increase resilience."
Personal Training Keeps You Motivated
When exercising on your own, it's difficult to stay motivated. When you are working with me as your Personal Trainer, I will provide that motivation and you will find that discipline to keep working towards your goals. On my graduation day receiving my Doctorate in Physical Therapy, my classmates gave each person a word that describes them. My word was Motivated! When you work with me, I will give you the encouragement and support to get you focused on a lifestyle of health and fitness.
Personal Training Makes You Learn More
One aspect of training with me is that I want all of my clients/patients to know why we are doing each exercise. Not only do you have more motivation with knowing the purpose of what you are doing but you learn more about your body. The more you know, the more empowered you are to make decisions about your health and fitness. I have always focused on continuing education to give the best to my clients/patients. My education began with a degree in Health and Human Performance/Athletic Training, training as a Licensed Massage Therapist, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and a Doctor of Physical Therapy. You're in the right place for your health and fitness needs.
Personal Training Keeps you Focused on your Goals
I'll help you set goals from the beginning. Along the way, we will re-assess your progress and change the goals if needed. I will help you be accountable to yourself and the goals you are working towards.
Personal Training Makes you more Productive with your Time
You can plan your priorities by scheduling your time to exercise. Do you know that the average American spends around 6 hours on social media and watching television?! You will end your day knowing that you gave your best efforts to take care of yourself and be happy about that.
Personal Training Improves Your Health and Well-being
Exercise is one part of your health and well-being that leads to long-term happiness. Your lifestyle has a role to play and working with me we can explore those areas as well. You will take the happiness you find with exercise and live inspired to change your life. You will claim your power back and become a happier person.
Let's get started.
